This flight brings a new feature to the Release Preview channel, but nothing we haven’t seen before in the other channels. With the release of this update, it is anticipated that users on the Windows 11 stable channel will receive a similar optional update in the following weeks as a Type D update. The optional update which is released later through Windows Update often has the same “KB” number, but a different build number, depending on whether more improvements have been added by the time it is released. Furthermore, this release also includes many fixes for the OS. Let us continue to see what these improvements are.

Windows Spotlight for Desktop
Previously, the Spotlight Collection was only available for the lock screen, where the background images would change a few times a day with descriptive information about the image. This was then later announced for the desktop as well in Windows 11 22H2.
